The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second has one single bed plus two single bunks. This fully self-contained chalet has recently been refurbished to offer a fresh, modern look, warm, comfortable furniture and convenient, user friendly facilities. Outside you will find a private verandah, complete with outdoor setting and barbeque, overlooking beautiful landscaped grounds and gardens abundant with birdlife. Our pet kangaroos and rabbits can often be seen roaming the grounds.  You are welcome to collect fresh fruit and eggs for breakfast or come and help feed our farm animals. Cots, high chairs and a playground are available for the children and they can run safely in our grounds. A child minding service is also available. Walk and cycle trails lead from the property through the adjoining nature reserve and on into the centre of town. Whether you need a quiet escape as a couple or a family holiday, we provide an ideal and affordable base, close to town and central to all the regions major attractions. Note: A $20 surcharge applies to one night bookings. Max # of Persons: 5 Children are charged at the same rate as adults. A two night minimum stay on weekends applies. Now listed as one of the region's Farmstay destinations, we encourage our guests to come and meet, pat and feed our animal residents – Angelique and Michelle, two beautiful miniature cows, and Jilly, River and Possum, the friendliest kangaroos you’re ever likely to meet. Our chickens, rabbit and guinea pigs are always a hit with the kids, who will delight in the interaction at feeding times morning and night. Wander around the orchard and pick your own fruit or just sit in our new gazebo and watch the amazing array of native birdlife on the property. The Rails to Trails walk and cycle trail passes immediately to the rear of our property, now running 2 kms south and 12 kms north, providing a great opportunity to bushwalk or cycle through the area and a window into local farming and the history of the region's railways.
